Reporting to the HR Director and sitting in our Northfield site, the HR Business Partner will use their business acumen to align business objectives with employee and leadership needs in their assigned business group.
The HR Business Partner will serve as a consultant to leaders on HR related issues, address employee relation issues, and lead projects to drive the HR Department forward.
This position will act as a change agent to enable growth and development.
Responsibilities and Duties Partner with Business Leaders on Human Capital initiatives.
The Business Partner will participate in leadership and functional meetings to keep their finger on the pulse of the organization and understand the organization's goals, objectives, and challenges, and develop HR strategies and initiatives to support them.
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions and implement effective recruitment and selection strategies.
Support full lifecycle of talent management.
This will include onboarding, career development, succession planning, develop and deliver training, stay interviews, and exit interviews.
Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances.
Provide guidance to managers on handling sensitive employee issues and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Assess organizational needs and develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Collaborate on change management initiatives and culture building activities.
Drive annual initiatives such as performance reviews, merit planning, open enrollment, succession planning, talent management, well-being initiatives, and our United Way campaign.
Work with the HR team to ensure competitive and equitable compensation.
Provide guidance to managers on salary administration.
Utilize HR data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and support data-driven decision making.
Generate reports and analyze data related to key HR metrics.
Lead or participate in HR projects, such as HR systems implementations, policy and procedure creation or updates, diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement surveys, and employee development programs.
Plan site events, including but not limited to, leadership meetings, flu shot clinics, and company party.
Participate in the Safety Committee and responsible for filing first report of injury.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Four (4) years of HR Business Partner experience required Required Skills Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and drive insights and recommendations Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong business acumen and ability to understand the organization's goals and align HR strategies accordingly Familiarity with Kronos, UKG Dimension or Kpay preferred Experience using Microsoft Office All Flex Solutions is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer Pay:
